Behind every great photograph is the photographer. More importantly, there is the essence of the person or the object I photograph. When photographing people, my intention is that they feel honored, respected, and completely at ease in such a way that the camera disappears. In the moment this occurs, the inner beauty of that person shines through and the only thing left to do is press the shutter. The results are photographs that come alive, transforming the way people see themselves as themselves and capturing their humanity.
